The Role

Part of the senior leadership team and working in collaboration with the Founder and CEO, the Commerical Director will lead on Business Development, Strategy formulation and Marketing, overseeing expansion into new markets within MEA, LATAM and ASIAPAC. This is an exciting opportunity jon a high-growth tech start-up that has attracted, and continues to attract, significant investment and will have a positive impact in increasing the levels of connectivity for less well off communities across the globe

The Commerical Director will have the following responsbilities:

-Act at a high level to develop and implement strategic marketing and business development strategies
-Be able to influence and win new business with telecommuncation operators and financial institutions world-wide
-Identify new opportunities, develop new client relationships and create/deliver strong business proposals
-Take the lead on managing client relationships ensuring that the leadership team are kept informed of market opportunities and business development.
-Lead a diverse international team

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Director will possess the following skills and attributes:

-Proven experience with enterprise level B2B business development role, ideally working with telecommuications products and clients
-Demonstrable success in an international context within emerging markets
-Able to influence C-level clients of complex international telco operators and financial insitutions
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Entrpreneurial and analystical mindset and the ability to collaborate across a complex value chain
