Our client, a major Real Estate management firm in Africa. They currently require a CEO to grow and manage their operations in Ghana.
Assumes responsibility for the development, implementation and execution of effective strategic plans to increase revenue. Ensure these strategies are aligned with company-wide strategic goals.
Manage 7 business units and ensure optimisation of business activities across all unit lines. Responsible for development of business lines and seeking new opportunities in the market.
Lead effective people management across the organisation to boost performance. Provides leadership through effective delegation and inclusion. Delegate authority and responsibility to senior management and provide regular communication to keep all staff updated with changes to programs and policies.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with vendors, auditors and regulators. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities as well as establishing and maintaining effective relationships with bankers.
Establish, develop, and manage professional relationships with clients across Ghana. Ensure that customer relationships are strong and regularly reviewed.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective financial policies. Develops group budgets, ensure the timeouts and accurate payments and controls all operating expenditure.
Keeps the Board, Exco and Manco informed on all accounting results, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure cashflow within the limits of banking facilities. And ensure compliance will all legal financial agreements.
Coordinate all back office departments and ensure the structure is organisationally sound and departmental units are developed and function in an efficient manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree educated and MBA is preferred.
Seven to ten years of management experience in Real Estate.
Proven experience of increasing revenue for real estate activities.
Demonstrable experience of developing client relationships.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on increasing diversity and inclusion.
Ability to develop and complete reports and research on time.
Excellent communication skills able to win new business from clients and provide detailed written reports to the board.
