Cyber Security Manager

The Role

As businesses move to a digital world, more data is generated and shared among organizations, partners and customers; to have business value, that data needs to be protected. You’ll play an integral role in helping PwC clients ensure they are protected by helping them assess their cyber security posture and controls, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.

Job roles and responsibilities
Knowledge and/or experience in Cybersecurity and/or Privacy, IT security Audit, IT
Risk/Compliance Management;
Understanding network security implementations (e.g., host-based IDS, IPS, access control
lists), including their function and placement in a network;
Understanding laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and
privacy;
Assessing enterprise-wide business risks and cyber threats;
Practical knowledge of cybersecurity standards/regulations (e.g. ISO 27001/27002, NIST
800 series, ISF, COBIT, PCI-DSS);
Ability to lead technical reviews on areas like: Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration
Testing on network & server infrastructure, applications security and source code review,
review of mobile platform security (iOS & Android);
Ability to perform cyber diagnostic review and develop cyber security strategy and resilience
framework;
Develop cyber resilience business continuity and incident response programme;
Ability to approach problems from different perspectives and being able to articulate the
deliverables to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Manage effectively multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines while working both
independently and in a team environment.
Support in designing, driving and executing the cybersecurity strategy.
Coaching and supervising junior team members.

Qualifications
Bachelor or master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, Computer
Science, Management Information Systems or Information Technology
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cyber Security and/or industry experience with 1/2 years’
experience in a manager capacity.
Relevant certifications in Cyber Security such as Certifications in: Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP)/Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)/ /Certified
Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications
Experience speaking at cybersecurity conferences or publishing cybersecurity thought
leadership articles.
