Millar Cameron was approached by the Real Estate Division of one of the world’s largest insurance companies to help hire an experienced asset manager with drive, an open approach and willingness to succeed in a demanding and changing environment. Located in the Czech Republic, the client possessed an expanding portfolio of assets which required management.
After a handful of discussions with both Operational and Human Resource Managers, Millar Cameron were able to demonstrate the key success factors of the candidates very clearly.
Our client was looking to expand their asset management team in one of their growth investment markets, Central and Eastern Europe. It was essential that they could secure an experienced asset manager who could handle the pace of the market and handle a variety of assets in line with their investment strategy.
Millar Cameron used a number of different talent streams to access a shortlist of suitable candidates. The asset management team had a LEAN structure so it was essential the asset manager had a broad spectrum of experience within the sector.
Millar Cameron were able to source a shortlist of candidates who had the necessary experience. Working through changes within the client team and supporting the internal HR team, we were able to secure a strong asset manager to join the team. This candidate is now in situ and delivering success by supporting the global firm in managing one of their key investment revenue streams.
