Since joining Miller Cameron in 2013, I’ve never failed to be impressed by the ambition and spirit of the business – and it’s a privilege to be part of the team.
It’s essentially my job to ensure our finances are running smoothly and that key information is available to aid decision making across the company. The great thing about working for an innovative and thriving small business like Millar Cameron is that your role extends far beyond your specific responsibilities, and I love the variety and challenges this brings.
This is also where my early career in specialist recruitment prior to moving into accountancy proves highly valuable, giving me a strong understanding of what the business and the industry is all about. Meanwhile, being mum to three children means I can easily cope with the juggling – and sometimes nagging – the role requires.
Of course, life’s not just about work, and outside of Millar Cameron I enjoy painting, gardening and running.
