The team behind our work
Meet the consultants, researchers and operational specialists who support our clients and candidates around the world.
Tim Co-Leads Millar Cameron’s Power & Infrastructure Practice and has over 25 years of experience in executive search, with extensive expertise across the power, infrastructure and construction, technology and telecoms, and professional services sectors. He has worked with a wide range of clients in the UK and Europe and, over the past 15 years, across Africa, where he has led assignments throughout the continent.
He has completed a broad range of executive and non-executive searches, including appointments for African utilities, senior finance and commercial roles in listed software and telecoms businesses, investment professionals for private equity and development finance institutions, and project and programme directors for leading construction companies and infrastructure asset owners.
Before moving into executive search, Tim spent 10 years in the British Army as an officer in the Royal Engineers. Much of this time was focused on officer recruitment, assessment and leadership development, and he concluded his service as an instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
He holds an MA in Political Economics from the University of Aberdeen.

Angus is a Partner at Millar Cameron, where he leads the team’s work across the protein sector, covering seafood, aquaculture, poultry, beef and dairy. He works with clients across Africa, Asia and the Americas on operational, head office and executive searches, supporting appointments from management level through to CEO, COO, CFO and other group leadership roles.
He has more than eight years of executive search experience and leads the full search process, from search strategy and market mapping through to assessment, shortlist preparation, client management and offer delivery. His work spans finance, operations, supply chain, procurement, farming, technical and commercial leadership roles.
Before moving into executive search, Angus spent the early part of his career in commercial aquaculture. He grew up in Zambia on a poultry farm and holds a Diploma in Seafood and Aquaculture and a BSc in Aquaculture from James Cook University.

Grace has over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition across Africa and Asia, with expertise in executive search, leadership recruitment and workforce planning. At Millar Cameron, she supports mission-driven organisations in developing effective recruitment strategies and appointing talent across leadership and operational roles.
She has worked with international NGOs, social enterprises and corporate organisations, and is experienced in building recruitment frameworks, improving hiring processes and aligning talent strategy with organisational priorities. She has also led large-scale hiring initiatives, including a recruitment project that supported significant workforce growth for a fast-scaling social enterprise.
Grace is known for her data-driven and market-informed approach, as well as her commitment to diversity, inclusion and sustainable hiring practices. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, supports climate action initiatives, and is an active CrossFit athlete.

Tom is a Senior Partner at Millar Cameron, leading international executive search mandates across the food and agriculture, natural resources, climate, development finance and impact investing sectors. He works globally with multinational corporations, private equity firms, development finance institutions, family-owned businesses and industrial companies to appoint senior executives and board members.
He has over a decade of experience in executive search and leadership recruitment, advising clients on retained search assignments, board appointments, succession planning and confidential strategic hires. His work is focused at Executive Committee and Board level, with particular experience in CEO, Managing Director, CFO, COO and investment leadership appointments, as well as board and non-executive roles.
Tom has completed searches across more than 40 countries and has particularly deep networks in Europe, Asia and Africa, alongside significant experience across North and South America. His work spans both growth-oriented and established organisations operating in complex international markets. He holds a degree in History from the University of Reading.

Marta has over a decade of experience in executive search and recruitment, including leading the European Executive Search function of a multinational talent brand. She has worked with organisations across the EMEA region to address strategic resource planning needs and to identify, engage and appoint critical talent.
She is experienced in supporting organisations through change and is committed to building cultures of continuous improvement. Marta is also passionate about the role recruitment can play in advancing diversity, inclusion and equity, and in sharing best practice across the profession.
Outside work, she has a strong interest in social science, culture and design. Marta holds a BA in Cultural Studies from the University of Warsaw.

Helen has been with Millar Cameron since 2015 and supports the team across marketing, HR and administrative functions. She plays a central role in keeping things running smoothly day to day, providing creative, practical and organisational support across a wide range of internal projects and business activities.
Before joining Millar Cameron in 2015, Helen worked in publishing, where she developed a strong interest in communications, content and creative work.
Music remains a big part of her life outside work, and she values the positive role it plays in bringing people together and supporting her local community.

Conor O'Callaghan is the Founder and Managing Partner of Millar Cameron, an executive search firm specialising in leadership recruitment across emerging markets. With more than 30 years' experience in executive recruitment, he has spent the past 19 years focused on identifying and placing senior leaders across Africa.
Conor has led C-suite and board-level appointments across a broad range of sectors, including private equity, agriculture, consumer goods, forestry, international development, and technology. He has built a reputation for partnering with organisations to identify transformational leaders capable of driving growth and long-term impact in complex and fast-evolving markets.
He holds a BA in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Portsmouth and the University of Mariano Gálvez in Guatemala.
Alongside his professional career, Conor is actively involved in education and community development. He is a Trustee of the Merchant Taylors' Oxfordshire Academy Trust and serves on the Walter Bigg Foundation, which supports young people in his local community. He is also a committed advocate for offender rehabilitation and has dedicated more than 22 years to mentoring and supporting individuals within the prison system.

Achim joined Millar Cameron in 2023 and specialises in supporting senior management and executive-level recruitment across the agribusiness, agriculture, food production and natural resources sectors throughout Africa. He has worked with a diverse range of organisations, including family-owned agricultural businesses, regional agribusiness groups, multinational corporations and investment-backed companies.

Based in Leeds, Achim is also an active community volunteer, supporting Congolese families and individuals as they settle and build successful lives in the UK. Since joining Millar Cameron in 2013, Rachael has played a central role in the day-to-day running of the business, managing finance, HR, marketing and administration. She is also a member of Millar Cameron’s leadership team.
She has a background in accounting and audit across a range of sectors, including agriculture, charity, education and financial services. Rachael began her career in recruitment, specialising in the introduction of environmental and sustainability professionals.
She holds a BEng in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southampton.

Silvia is an experienced talent acquisition specialist with a focus on search and selection. She has managed end-to-end recruitment assignments, including designing search strategies, identifying leadership, managerial and technical talent, conducting pre-screening and technical evaluation, and preparing longlists and shortlists.
She has supported the placement of executive and mid-level managers across a range of sectors, including international development, financial services, FMCG and aviation.
Before moving into executive search, Silvia worked in the banking sector as an HR Generalist and also gained experience in the not-for-profit sector. Justin is Co-Lead of Millar Cameron’s Power & Infrastructure Practice. He has more than 18 years of experience in executive search, leadership recruitment, and talent advisory, with a focus on renewable energy, power, infrastructure, mining, sustainability, and impact investing.
He works closely with investors, developers, operators, and advisory firms to build and strengthen the leadership teams driving Africa's energy transition, delivering senior executive and non-executive searches and assembling start-up teams for new ventures and platforms. He has also supported multinational businesses as they expand into Africa and the Middle East.
Before moving into executive search, Justin spent 15 years in sales and marketing roles within manufacturing and design businesses. He holds a BA in Geography from the University of Newcastle.
